Welcome to Mids.ai ("Mids", "the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), a service operated by Spicehouse, LLC, a Texas-based company. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and services located at https://mids.ai. By using Mids, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Mids. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian permission. By using the platform, you affirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

To access certain features of the platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You may delete your account at any time via your profile page. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or misuse the platform.

3. Use of the Platform

Mids.ai allows users to create and publish project landing pages, interact with other users, submit content, leave comments, and participate in a discovery and marketplace experience centered on web-based and AI-based projects.

You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

4. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Post unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
  • Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data
  • Interfere with the operation of the platform
  • Use the platform to distribute spam or malicious content
  • Impersonate any person or misrepresent your identity or affiliation

5. User Content & License

You retain ownership of all content (including text, images, links, and code) you submit to Mids. By posting or uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and promote that content in connection with operating and marketing Mids.

We do not review, verify, or endorse user-submitted content or the destinations of any outbound links included in project pages ("Mids"). While we strive to offer transparency — including previewing outbound links and confirming external navigation — we do not guarantee the safety, accuracy, or trustworthiness of any project or link submitted by users.

Mids functions as a platform for user-generated content. Users are solely responsible for evaluating which projects to visit, follow, support, or engage with. Use good judgment and caution when interacting with external sites or signing up for services promoted via the platform.

6. Third-Party Services

Mids integrates with and relies on third-party platforms and tools, including but not limited to:

  • Stripe (for payments)
  • Supabase (for backend and authentication)
  • Google, GitHub, and Facebook (for login/authentication)
  • SendGrid (for emails)
  • Discord (for community support)
  • OpenAI and Google Gemini AI (for AI-driven features)
  • Google Analytics (for analytics)

Your use of features powered by these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, performance, or data practices of third-party providers.

7. Payments

If you use any features involving payments, such as hiring a builder or purchasing access to project content, these transactions are processed by Stripe. You agree to abide by Stripe's terms of service and acknowledge that Spicehouse, LLC is not liable for payment processing issues or disputes.

8. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at our sole discretion, particularly if you violate these Terms or disrupt the experience for others.

Upon termination, your content and account may be deleted. Some residual data may remain for backup, compliance, or legal purposes.

9. Disclaimers

Mids is provided "as is" and "as available" with no warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be secure, available at all times, or error-free.

We do not guarantee or verify the legitimacy, safety, or reliability of any user-submitted project or link. We do not moderate or endorse any specific user, builder, or project. You assume all risks when interacting with projects, websites, or third-party content linked from the platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spicehouse, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Mids or any interactions resulting from it.

Our total liability to you for any claim relating to the use of the platform shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the total amount you paid us in the past 12 months (if any).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may notify users through the platform or by email. Continued use of Mids after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Travis County, Texas.
